Terms & Conditions

Please read carefully, as it contains important information about our service.
  • No fridges, freezers, Asbestos or Other Hazardous waste to be placed into the skip.
  • Hire period is for a maximum of 7 days, unless otherwise agreed at the time of order. On request of the Hirer/Agent an additional fee of €20per week will apply. Once collection of a skip is requested it may take longer than 5 days for The Company to collect the skip. Should this be the case there are no additional costs to the Customer.
  • The collection day will be agreed with the customer at time of hire. If the skip is not ready for removal when the driver arrives the customer will be liable for a wasted journey charge of €80.
  • Cubic Yards are quoted as an average caring capacity.
  • Hiring period may be terminated on the instruction of An Garda Siochana or any other authorised official. The Company will not reimburse the Hirer/Agent for any losses incurred in such event.
  • The Hirer/Agent shall be responsible for compliance with the provisions of section 3(1), 3 (2), 4(2), 6(1) and 6(4) of the litter Pollution Act 1997 during the period of hire and will indemnify the Company against all fines, damages cost and expenses however arising by reason of the breach or non-observance of any such provisions however arising ie. It is the hirers responsibility to ensure that the contents of the skip is not loaded or stored in a many which is likely to give rise to litter. This responsibility remains with the hirer until such time the company removes the skip. DO NOT accept delivery of the skip if unwilling to accept this responsibility.
  • If any Hazardous material is found in the skip after the fact the customer will be liable for any additional charges incurred in the disposable of the waste type.
  • Skip delivery will take place after payment has been received by the company. The payment options include Credit card payment on placing order, or Cash/Cheque payment when the driver arrives. With Cheque payments the skip will not collected, until the cheque has been cleared which may take up to 5-6 working days.
  • The skip Hirer agrees that no skip will be loaded higher than 9” (0.23m) above the upper edge/top rail of the skip. Any skips overloaded or over weight will not be removed until it is safe to do so.
  • It is the Hirers/Agents responsibility to inform the company of the contents at the time of ordering the skip to ensure all products can be accepted
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to keep the skip in good condition. The customer shall reimburse the Company for any damage or stolen skip during the hiring period.
  • The customer is to permit the waste company to enter the premises at reasonable times for inspection of condition, repairing or taking possession of skip.
  • If any owed sum by the buyer to the company should be overdue, the company has the right to withhold any goods or services.
  • The service provider shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatever due to failure by the service provider to deliver the services and/or goods (or any of them) promptly or at all.
  • The company should not be liable for any damage, discrepancy or shortage of goods sold or hired unless the buyers notifies both the company and the carrier within 48 hours at the time of delivery of goods.
  • The customer acknowledges that they are liable for any loss or damage to the goods from the time of delivery until it is returned to the service provider.
  • Company reserves the right to refuse the delivery of goods at any particular location where there is a danger or risk of injury to parties or where such a delivery would be contrary to any law or by-law force.
  • Customer shall not move the skip from the point of delivery.
  • The company shall not be liable for any damages, manholes, walls or property caused by the company vehicles or equipment while on the buyers premises.
  • The Company’s aggregate liability in respect of claims based on events in any 12 months arising out of or in connection with the Services, whether in contract or tort or otherwise shall in no circumstances exceed 100% of the total charge paid by the Customer to the Company in the 12months prior to any suck claim.
  • Price of goods or service provided shall be the company’s price ruling at the date of dispatch.
  • Please note that we do not deliver or collect skips on Sundays or Bank holidays.
  • Whilst we endeavour to meet your requested delivery/collection times, delivery/collections times cannot be guaranteed.
  • If the service is not carried out on the day specified in the service contract, the company reserves the right to reschedule the provision of the same to the next reasonable opportunity and no claim shall lie against the company by the customer.
  • It is the responsibility of the customer to provide permits where needed as specified by Local Authority Bye-Laws or regulations. A permit can be obtained from the appropriate local authority.
  • Please refer to the list of not accepted waste materials listed on the terms & conditions. Failure to adhere to this list could result in the non collection of a skip or the incurring of penalty charges.
  • In the event of delay on behalf of the Company, or should the Company be prevented from making delivery of Equipment or performance of Services due to war, strikes, lockouts, fire, flood, explosion, labour disturbances, trade disputes, shortages in raw material or due to any other cause whatsoever beyond the control of the Company, the Company shall be at liberty to cancel or suspend delivery or Services without incurring any liability for any loss or damage arising there from.
  • Should the weight or content of any container exceed the maximum weight or capacity, an additional charge maybe levied by the company at its sole discretion, which charge factors the standard rate payable per tonne for the contents of such bag or container.
  • The Company also holds the hirer or their agent responsible to ensure the skip is clearly visible during hours of darkness and complies with the Local authority bye laws/regulations which may be applicable to their relevant area.
  • Lights Must Be placed on Skips during Hours of Darkness.
  • If any provision of the Terms shall be invalid, void, illegal or unenforceable the validity, existence, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected, prejudiced or impaired.
  • The Customer may not assign these terms and conditions to another party with The Company’s consent in writing.
